Evie in Scotland, Part 4 (5/20)

Day 15: Isle of Skye to Loch Ness
We spent the morning and early afternoon on the Isle of Skye. Before heading east to mainland Scotland, we stopped for a nice picnic and some playtime in Sligachan, the town with the best views of the Cuillin Hills. Shortly after we made it back to the mainland, we reached Eilean Donan Castle, the filming site of many movies (including The Highlander). There we received a very informative lesson on claymores and the difference between Irish Gaelic (gay-lick) and Scottish Gaelic (gah-lick) from a proud and kilted Scotsman. After leaving the castle we headed northeast to Inverness, and while looking for our caravan park, stumbled on Loch Ness. I played around the puddles, and then we had a nice dinner in a local pub.
