Day 8: Tralee to Doolin
Happy Mother's Day! Ironicially enough, it was our toughest day yet. From Tralee we headed north and took the Shannon Ferry into County Clare. The ferry times we were given were incorrect, we took a wrong turn and got a bit lost, and to top it all off, I got a bit car sick (when I say a bit, I mean all over the back seat!). But, things improved when we arrived in Doolin and settled in for a cozy dinner at McGann's Pub on a cold and rainy night.
Beep, beep! Ready to hit the road

Day 9: Doolin to Galway
We had a fortuitous break in the rain in the morning and headed to the Cliffs of Moher. It was incredibly windy but beautiful nonetheless. After heading through some very interesting parts of Ireland known as the Burren region, we arrived in Galway City. We spent the afternoon walking around and playing in the park, and then we had dinner at a hopping gastropub full of students.
