Evie's Baby Naming Ceremony

Meeting Aunt Peg

I love my pretty dress! By the way, it's time for my nap.

Saying hi to Rabbi Aaron....The ceremony begins!

So exciting that everyone is here to celebrate ME!

Mom and Papa are so proud

Falling asleep on Mom's shoulder

The Rainbow Ceremony

Papa explains my English names Evie (Evelyn) and Daintree

Mom tearfully explains the meaning of my Hebrew name
I am Chava Rut! (pronounced Hah-vah Root).
Chava is the Hebrew name for Eve, which means life.
Rut is the Hebrew name for Ruth, the name I was given to honor my two Grandmothers

Dad gives me a Chai charm (Chai also means "life")
- to wear now and to later attach to my chuppah when the time comes!

The post-ceremony party begins (and so does all the attention)!!
